YPN blog announced that Yahoo! Publisher Network now offers payment via Paypal instead of check or by electronic funds transfer. Is this serious threat to Adsense? I’ve seen many webmaster has request this option before but there is no updates from Adsense management yet. Maybe they are preparing to offer Adsense publisher Google CheckOut services as their alternative payout.

Payment via Paypal means YPN will give publishers flexibility and a lower payment threshold, from $100 to $50. Payments also will be cleared much more faster. This is a great news for YPN publishers. For Malaysian and others, we are still ‘loyal’ to Adsense. That’s because YPN still in beta program and they only accept publishers from US resident only. :P
