I’m off to Shah Alam with my dad tonight. We were gonna see the AFF football match (previously known as Tiger Cup), between Malaysia VS Singapore. The match will take place in Shah Alam Stadium. We all know Malaysia football is been mock up badly this past few years with their bad reputation and bad game play. Actually since 1990’s our national team performance started to lose their momentum. The dilemma continues till now. Our football organization still can’t find the right portion for our national team. What happen to those past great years? Malaysia is one of the most strongest team not only in South East Asia but in Asia continent. But now even in ASEAN tournament we were struggle and luckily granted to the next round.
Never mind, I’m still gonna go and watch it and enjoy the match like I always did with my dad. Support our Malaysian football team.
Since I was a kid, my dad always brought me to the stadium and watched local match. It’s enjoy to be with thousand of crowd, sit together, hearing the drums and chanting. It’s even greater if we won the match. Some kind of proud feeling arise. It’s very good. So I’m gonna hope there will be large crowd for tomorrow night and give our national team some moral support.
I really like current football national jersey thats has been sponsored by Nike. The yellow and black stripes. I think I’m gonna grab it at nearest Nike store.
According to my father, Malaysia already wore this design for previous year. But it still looks good. I think FAM (Football Association Of Malaysia) should stick with this design and have our own trademark. You know what I’m saying? Like when people see the jersey we all know thats Malaysia. For example look at Argentina jersey. With their blue and white stripes we already can assure that is Argentina in any tournament.
I think we should have that kind of attention too. All jersey should be standardize. Not only for football, but goes to all sports.
Some of you guys might thinking whats up with yellow and black have something to do with Malaysia. Isn’t red and white is more appropriate (refer to the flag color)? As you can see most of Malaysian jersey is in yellow and black stripes. It’s tiger theme lookalike. Thats our trademark. A Malaya Tiger in action :P. Further, yellow is our King’s color. The theme of royal.
